  • i'm thinking a discussion about trading bike parts might be useful. no cash, just trade. what have you got? what do you want?

  • when i finally get my bike from condor i should have a carbon cross top lever going spare (31.8) has a hinged clamp it's the left hand one but you can flip it for r/h use.
don't know what i want? nude pics of that bird from life on mars? decent 18t cog?

  • I have a 19T EAI 1/8" Cog. Want to trade it for a 15T track cog.

  • I've got:

    1. 1980's Ciocc 54cm road frame. In good condition but in need of a respray. 126mm rear dropouts, so a good candidate for a fixed gear conversion.

    2. 1990's Chas Roberts 51cm road frame. In excellent condition. Reynolds 853, light as a feather. I got it 2nd hand but it's still basically as good as new. To get something equivalent built would cost coming on for £1,000. Two tone colour fade, from red to yellow. Beautiful, smooth fillet brazing. 130mm vertical dropouts.

    3. A 130mm Cinelli 1A aluminium road stem in good, clean condition. A bit too long for me, might suit someone else better.

    I'm open to any suggestions!

  • 25" falcon frame. okay condition but nothing to write home about. 126mm dropouts. no fork, just frame. it comes with a bottom bracket and it's built like a tank. too big for me so it's sitting in my office.

got a few chainrings as well (all brand new):
    130bcd 45t
    135bcd 46t
    144bcd 46t

  • I've got a few things that I could trade or sell.

Nitto RB-021 bullhorns 42cm wide and taped up with black cork
Old Brooks Team Pro - dark brown, small rivets, nicely broken in!
Newer Lepper Voyager - another leather saddle, honey coloured, 531 chassis, similar in shape to a swift, nice condition with a few surface scratches from storage
Cinelli Alter 120mm silver, comes with a pin up sticker for the top
Pair of old Shimano 105 pedals with clibs (rubber) and straps (ditto). These are the triangular ones designed for use with cleats

Looking for anything interesting, retro jerseys with a 38" chest, 47 tooth 144bcd track chainring

  • docus:Hi Hovis, does the 135bcd chainring fit a Miche crank? If so I could give it a good home! What would you like for it? You can drop me a message here if you like, or email me at hamish_seymour AT yahoo DOT co DOT uk

heya. it should do. the 135bcd is actually a 46t. sorry about that. let me know if you're still interested. it's a brand new stronglight chainring.

i've got a 46t 144bcd chainring if you're interested. i'd be interested in the bullhorns?

  • I have a free 3TTT quill stem, 10cm long. GONE

Hi, 46t would do well, whisper or email with what you'd like for it!

  • Does anybody have a 13T or 14T track sprocket? I want to go to Herne Hill next monday, but i won't be able to do it properly on my gearing.

  • looking to upgrade wheels/hubs for a rescued condor - will trade for pieces of paper with pictures of her maj on them

If no luck trading you're welcome to borrow either size from me for the session. I've got tools to change em over too. I'll be there tomorrow eve (wed) and Sat morning. Riding an orange / white Koga.

  • Hovis Brown:hey, docus what do you have? i'm about 90% sure that 135 fits miche, but perhaps you should double check on your bike.

Yup, just checked - Miche takes 135. Is it for a 3/32 or 1/8 chain? Cheers

Good question. I would assume 3/32. The rings are at work and i don't have them in front of me at the moment.

  • Pip, if the stem is still up for grabs I'd be glad of it

  • I have your address, best not to post such things in a public forum; my email address should be visible. Will post on monday

  • i have a 15t sprocket unnamed, but nice.. barely used swap for something bigger?

  • I have a blue Reload top tube protector. Approx 16" long. Good nick though could do with a wash, maybe.

Would be happy to trade if for any decent cycling cap or a tt/aero bar end brake lever.

i've been looking all around for that! but ain't got anythig to trade it with...what about pecunia?

  • I'm in the business for a 49cm road or track frame - preferably something cool :-)

  • Stef_82 - if you still want the pad, my email address should be public. Drop me a line and we'll sort it out.

  • Tube protectors, i don't understand what they are for? To save your nuts? To help drag your inner leg when braking? Enlighten me :D

  • to protect the tube!

dents, scratches.. its sort of in the name!

  • Plus the padding makes carrying your bike upstairs a bit more comfortable.
