This one came out of the Talbot paintbooth, with Talbot-built wheels, so it was a great opportunity to make something very cohesive.
Looks great. What's the brake set up? And what are the wheels?

Visually I mind more about the squishy bar tape and what looks like a gold chain

what looks like a gold chain
Regina Oro Pista is the right chain for that bike, whether you like it or not.

So the black chain on the bike in the first post is wrong? Maybe they're both fine and I should find something better do do than comparing raleighs.

The OE chain was probably a Regina Extra Pista, which is fine if Raleigh wanted to save a few bob, but the Oro was the bling option.

Proof that classic drop bars > compact bars

• #90141
yeah but the chain on that raleigh is a super toughness

Wood I gather.
Canyon. It's integral to their identity (for which they won recognition from Graphis I think).
They quite cleverly only obscure the lower portion, leaving the type completely legible.
Rose (on their bike's downtube) cut off the letterfom around the meanline which doesn't work at all. #doingitwrong
