speaking of Arcade Fire,
anyone else looking forward to the new Rough Trade shop/venue thingy up near Brick Lane?
I'm in serious danger of ending up in financial dire straits if I start visiting that on a regular basis… -

I hadn't heard about this, but just asked on a music forum I'm on and got given this link:
http://enjoyment.independent.co.uk/music/news/article2393338.eceIt sounds utterly awesome. I've been to Amoeba in both LA and San Francisco, and both are great stores... if the London Rough Trade can come anywhere near those, we'll all be bankrupt.
Thank God that there's no bike shop equivalent of that size and quality in London... can you imagine how bad things would be if we could get absolutely any bike part at a reasonable price?

I have a 'Cash Money Monday' mix of this including 'Far from Reality' that a friend bought back from Jamaica it is an excellent cd.
I also have an old album 'Too Experienced' by Barrington Levy that goes on when I rarely get in the car. :) -

Arcade Fire stuck on repeat here.
I went to their Porchester Hall gig last month, and it sucked. The sound was dreadful, too dreadful for words. It's a real shame too as their albums are among the finest to have surfaced in the last few years.
