Bike Anti-Porn - When Things Go Wrong

Not a fan of the chub, but anti is pretty harsh?

I do not understand how chub hubs could be anything BUT anti.

• They look like Shimano Nexus hub gears
  
• The claims of them adding stiffness is almost certainly untrue
  
• They look like Shimano Nexus hub gears. Why on earth would you want your fixed gear bike to look like it has a massive hub gear?
  
  

I do not understand the appeal of them whatsoever. In fact, I don't understand the point of them whatsoever. And this comes from someone who likes hub gears.
