  • I would make a law that the movies must be no shorter than 120 min. If the movie is good, 2 hours is the minimum that I want to get lost in it. If I deeply dislike it I just quit when I had enough. Especially nowadays that we watch the most at home(Lovefilm. DVD etc) with the comfort of pausing when you want for the loo or some food and you can smoke while watching etc, I like the longer the better.

Going back to Lars Von Trier, I never totally loved his movies, but I always want to watch it, I find it interesting with a lot of experimentation, intense acting in an ice burning way.
Dogville is probably one of my fav, I love theatrical especially drama. In fact The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover is probably one of my fav of all times, but i don't like much of the rest from Peter Greenway.

In a different note, i saw recently Rush, and it's not bad but I found it just a good movie for some light commercial entertainment, actually the only good thing is the acting of Daniel Bruhl doing Niki Lauda. Still, on IMDB got 8.3 of rating. Meh

BTW, looking forward for Nymph()maniac the uncut version.
