I understand where you're coming from about a dog being nippy to strangers by the way. I fucking cannot stand people who can't control their dogs. Yesterday some little yappy thing jumped up at me and covered my trousers in mud because it wasn't on a lead. To say I had a go at the owner would be an understatement. Wanker.
