Congrats on the engagement by the way!

ahhhhhh well its long been awaiting

  • A quick note to say a big thank you to the guys at Kinoko for sharing the love and helping out on building up 2 sets of wheels for the Vätternrundan which we are riding in memory of a good friend and fellow cyclist.

They have helped us build some lovely wheels at a lovely price so we can roll smooth on that Swedish 'mac.

    Thanks Andrew & Max!

  • Went to Kinoko for the first time today, real nice shop and the staff were helpful. Nice job!

  • Looking to buy some Kinoko stuff.. is there or do they ever do discount codes?

  • Does anyone own a dart v2 ? Been considering one for the next build , any opinions?

  • I have one. I really like it. My first fixie, and it's been great.

Sounds good , what's it like for weight ? Looks a little porky with the huge tubes

  • its 4130; it will be heavy

  • I only have my previous 1970s raleigh ss conversion and my dawes galaxy tourer to compare it to... so I think it's light!

  • Saw some dude riding one up towards London Bridge, looked real nice. Wasn't keen when I saw images but in the flesh they're quite sassy!

  • its 4130; it will be heavy

Hardly, it's normal, a lots lighter than high tensile steel that's for sure.

With carbon fork, it's not difficult to get it under 9kg.

  • well .. 'heavy' (or light) is relative. 9kg for a tarck bike is heavy.

  • Maybe but a 9kg track bike is perfectly useable.

I'm sure without much effort you could get one under 8kg, the frame isn't that heavy and I'm sure the sample builds in the shop are a fair bit less than 9kg.

  • its 4130; it will be heavy

That's the material. No mention of diameter or thickness. It could be as light at 631.

It's oversized, tigged and compact. Probably about 1800g?

It's not a 9kg frame though is it? It could be on Marathon tyres.

  • Anyone know if kinoko got black pearls in the shop? None on the site
