Just started playing Blood Dragon again. Sweet jesus I forgot how much fun that game is!

played the last of us DLC, not as epic as the main game but a good story and an ok amount of gameplay for a dlc (couple of hours if you're a pussy like me and sneak everywhere).

one thing I liked is when you start playing it asks if you want the tutorial prompts switched back on in case it's been a while since you last played it. which oddly was the exact thing i'd been thinking as I loaded the game up.

one thing I wished it had done was introduce a few different enemies as it's identical game play to the main game but as it is a mix of pre-game and mid-game timeline events I guess it makes sense that they haven't changed anything else people complain that it's not canon.

i loved the DLC. Thought it added nicely to the main story.
They mixed up the combat a bit by giving you the ability to get the infected and general bad guys to fight each other - that was a nice touch and something i thought was missing from the main game

true. that element was quite good and sort of necessary given the overall sandbox size of the dlc as it did kind of make the ammo/health thing quite troublesome when you pretty much get almost enough to handle the upcoming challenges which if you're not careful means you can get stuck in some of the big set pieces with literally nothing left and no means of getting anything unless you get lucky with the knife and some ammo drops.

fwiw if anyone is wondering whether it's worthwhile signing into facebook for the 'cool' feature on the loading screen, don't bother, it's not 'cool' and definitely not necessary.

I guessed what it was about half way through and am extremely glad that I did not do it ;)

As an aside, I think i'd vote getting a head shot with the bow in The Last of Us as the most satisfying 'shot' in gaming. Especially when it's on an enemy that has just pulled a weapon to shoot you and that one arrow is literally all you have in your arsenal.

I'm always late to games and don't own any consoles. Having first seen it years ago, I finally got round to purchasing Left 4 Dead 2- anyone on the forum still play this and up for some multiplayer zombie smashing?

Also still playing CSS and CSGO on steam if anyone wants to add I'm salmonchild on there too.
