  • The argument for clues is very simple - without one the game is simply Do you happen to recognise this?

    It's not though, half the fun for me has been working out where tags are that I don't know - figuring them out. I've definitely found tags I didn't recognise, which had no clue, but I did the research to find them - whether desk research or narrowing it down and exploring a certain area.

    I don't doubt that some tags definitely need clues, but can't the tagger use their judgement on a tag-by-tag basis?

    It's the blanket rule I don't like.
