  • 'Sticky toffee pudding'. That was always a regular feature of Skully's birthday parties. It wasn't a dessert, not any kind of foodstuff, and the recipient was rarely, if ever, grateful or, indeed, able to form a coherent sentence for days after.
    'Bangers and mash' was another treat that guests might look forward to. Again, it had nothing to do with traditional British cooking. You probably don't even want to think about Skully's idea of a 'full English'.

    But, however spiteful, malicious and intricately cruel his parties were you would always leave with a smile on your face and you can't say fairer than that.
