Silly moment on my behalf this morning, around 8am on Great Eastern Street riding up towards the junction of Old Street and over taking a van on the right hand side, so I was riding on right lane. Suddenly the Mercedes taxi car stops to allow the a car on the opposite side to pull out, I indicated to come back to the left hand lane but the van on my left refused to let me back in and I was already doing 25mph+ and there wasn't enough of a gap to filter through the middle, so I pulled a bloody miracle and skid/drifted around right side the Mercedes into oncoming traffic (thank god it wasn't moving) and then re-skidded around the car that was pulling out and came out of it with a scratch to me or the bike...yikes!
