Yes and yes, although neither is really in the spirit they are both permitted.

Does anyone have experience with the sizing on Champion Systems skin suits? Their website gives sizing details but only the flat dimensions of an unworn suit and the following instructions that aren't very useful given I don't own one yet.
If you’re unsure which size to buy, try measuring a skin suit that you already own that fits you well, and
compare those measurements to the size chart.http://champ-sys.co.uk/media/Short%20and%20Long%20Sleeve%20Skin%20Suit%20Size%20Chart.pdf
My problem is that I'm reasonably tall and thin (181cm, 71kg) so it's difficult to find things that fit both horizontally and vertically.
I do have 3 other pieces of C-S kit all in size small and all fit 'horizontally' but the jersey is a bit short and both of my slvlss suits are 2 piece and I often end up showing a bit of midriff.

So, what you're saying is you'd have a bit of a cry if I just wound the Shiv down to a singlespeed and smoked ya? ;)

^^ I'm 180cm and a bit portly (85kg), I think I have a large (I'll check tonight), it's perfect length but is still a bit saggy in the stomach area.
There was a thread on the TT forum about this just the other day. Might be of some use.

You could beat me on your Langster, so no.

First race of the season on Sunday: Chippenham 24M Hardriders on the U83
Hoping the weather isn't going to be too horrendous...

Good luck.
North Road Hardriders was last weekend. One mistake I made (of many) was wearing too much because the weather wasn't as horrendous as I had thought. I thought it was going to be super cold and wet but was actually pretty mild by the time i started racing.

It'd have to be the gf's Langster or my Condor.

...No I haven't: I let my club membership lapse, intending to join LFGSS.CC: temp membership?
Entry closes 26th Feb: I'll e-mail the secretary to see if I can reserve a place.
I see you've bumped the LFGSS.CC thread, so we'll see what the schedule is.
Damn! Wish I'd known about the VTTA: they're CTT affiliated. Too late for the "hilly" open, but I've joined anyway rather than hold out for LFGSS.CC. -

Did this on Sunday - it was horrible and I felt terrible and was slow.
It wasn't until I got home that I realised my saddle was 2cm too low

Early season shakedown rides are great for this kind of thing.
fondly (not) remembers 10mi on the A4 with slipping seatpost in full winter kit

I managed to do this during one of the Richmond Park TTs, thought it was the seatpost at first and wondered why I was bouncing up and down for the rest of the race, haha

this is a great blog for a Bristol (I think) hill climber. Mainly uphill tts but a few flat ones thrown in

Agreed, great read that.

Flounced many moons ago Dan. Which was a shame, as he is very funny.

Shame. I like his blog.

You can still like his blog without him being on here ya know?
-
• #5896
Yup that's PJ, my (considerably faster) Bristol South CC teammate
-
• #5897
Technically he didn't flounce either. I think he still gets PMs from here.

Me again with another question about medium gear TTing. If I've not ridden a medium gear event should I just leave the LTS field blank but include a note showing my LTS for the equivilant distance on a geared machine?
Thanks in advance!

Just fill in the form as usual.
Do MG events include an SS that's geared suitably or do they have to be fixed?
Would a geared bike with the limit screws wound in be suitable or would they insist on a single cog at the back?
