Cheers for the positive comments. And yep, I do believe the frame was built by Donohue.
I did think it would be tricky to get the drilling just right for a short reach calliper - thanks for the reference pics Jogger. Quite tight indeed. If I don't drill the existing forks I'll probably look for a set of 1" Columbus minimals or some 1" threadless Look road forks.
Dropped in at Fitzrovia cycles to chat about wheels - so many options. Have to decide and get something ordered.
