Similar with my 14R. Kinda baffling.

Isn't it a factor of how slammed it is and what size tire you use?

^Dropout angle is probably the biggest factor - If ends point up it magnifies the effect of slamming.
Tyre dia. only varies a little (+/-5mm). Strangely, mine look neater with 28mmRando than tubs (curious for pursuit biek).
My guess is production volumes of 14R, Duratec et al means it's probably a craft-activity so they're all subtly different in radius/location.

My DF3 has a different curve which I think looks more elegant when slammed and not as ridiculous when I flip to the small cog for the track.

PX have done it pretty well

maybe crabon molding is more repeatable than metal cutting. ..
