Client gave me this today! It's no IWC for £80, but can't complain. It is however hilariously MASSIVE on my wrist. #feellikeagansta

Whats the cost of replacing the glass on a CWC like this?
At a guess, £15 - £20?
-
• #11432
Would you have a idea of a good price for it?

Not looking to start a debate but it's still going strong after two years..

Does it work ok otherwise, eg. Does the seconds hand return to zero correctly?
And does it have any (fake) military engravings added to the back? It will at least have a Silvermans stock number on it.

just because, need to upgrade to fit into this thread nowadays
I think those watches are classics. Much more practical for wearing diving than a proper expensive 'diving' watch - I scratched the shit out of my diver last time I actually used it for diving. Will be picking up an SXK007 this year.

Something I thought I'd never say. Am considering a Rolex. That is all.

...Am considering a Rolex. That is all.
There are many vU Rolex hater posts. Here are a few...
The only way I could ever justify owning a Rolex or BMW to myself would be by going vintage, then somehow it would 'just about' seem OK.
Rolex are the horological equivalent of a chest-wig for a 14 year old.
They reek of 'wannabe'.
I genuinely don't like Rolex...(in my opinion).
They do hold their value well...but after spending years working on their advertising for them I saw enough to realise they really aren't all they're cracked up to be.
And to be honest some of the monstrosities they make...are about as tasteful and sophisticated as Ali Gee in a diamante encrusted thong.
...I've been collecting watches from low-end to high-end for well over a decade and know what I like.

It's a Jackson homage

Actually very good.
The crystal needs to be replaced with acrylic as they're prone to shattering, but only cost a couple of pounds.

Anyone give a price guide for the watch - Cant find it on Silvermans
