hmmm - there is a sponsored ride (the Chilterns Cycle Challenge) approaching at the end of March (Sunday 23rd); ~~ starting early-morning, between 8 and 9am from Aylesbury Town Centre, features a 75-mile route, costs £17.. oh,~~ but earliest train gets in at 10.48am, so its not really possible for Londoners!
