Just setting sleepily off from home when a ped dressed in** nodder dayglo** starts leaping around the pavement shouting "allez, allez" at me.
Belatedly realised who it was. Morning, Damo.
Euro pro fluoro thanks very much.

Spotted and DAS'ed that famous yellow Eddy Merckx lo-pro just outside Essex Road Station before 7pm. Zero reaction from rider.
Spotted him few weeks ago. Stunning build. Said "Nice Bike" to him but similar zero reaction :)
Would love to see photos of the build.
Just had these pointed out to me. Sorry to both. Didn't hear you noname, but DragunovCZ1, I'm sure I thanked you. Perhaps my voice is as weak as my hearing. Nice bike to you too.
Missing a DAS tho, must try harder...

...the junction of cedars road, which Tibbs, has the quickest light cycle of any junction I ride across on my way to the wild wild west. If I was a pedestrian I wouldn't even bother pushing the button, it doesn't seem worth it...

Good to see you! Must admit, I was drafting you for sometime, you were averaging 35kph like nothing. Impressive work. See you there next time.
Ha, that's only because I was drafting someone else who was ridiculously quick! Without a pace-setter/windbreak I'm very lazy. Next time I'll make more effort to keep up with you.
argh, i was considering RP laps today as 5pm approached and it was still looking like a nice spring day. would've been nice to see you both, although doubt i could hang on for more than a lap!
I'm going to try and make it a weekly Wednesday thing as part of my effort not to be such an embarrassment at inters, so why dontcha join next week? I definitely wasn't doing 35kph the whole time!
Were you on a yellow track bike? I think I spotted you as I was coming in for laps with the lads!
Yep that was me! I spoke to your 'lads' on that corner after I stopped because my rear light ran out of juice. I had to put my spare front light on the back to get home...it felt weird. Do you guys do a 8 o'clock chain gang or something?
Hello scoot, nice sunshine on that concrete island!
Lovely to have a chat in the middle of the road!

Ah I see! I wasn't confident enough on it actually being you to say hi! Glad you got home alright.
Yeah, we usually congregate around 7:30 but someone is always late. I would love to get them done earlier but I only get out of work at 6 and need to change etc etc.
I keep meaning to start a thread about the club and invite all the forumengers out but I keep never quite getting round to it.
Also hello to Si/OLC, Caz, YAL et al on the corner of Regents tonight! Sorry I missed your laps, I'll definitely get my track bike out of effective retirement and come round soon. Lovely to see/meet you all.

Anyhoo Spotted: KTBee in this Audax UK's Arrivee. Fame. At. Last.
I know - the glamour, huh? Luckily it's sufficiently blurry that you can't tell if I'm laughing or crying - I think at that point in the ride it might have been a tiny bit of the latter.

Yes great to bump into you Morgan. Glad you're enjoying your cycling and your work. Hope the parents are still well, their visits were always amusing!
Jess, good to know there's possible company for Wednesday laps. I'm not usually in the office and hence close to RP on Wednesdays, but next time I am, I'll be in touch

I'll have to pop down to Peckham and we can go for a pint Si. I'll admit that this is slightly motivated by my sources telling me the Gowlett's pizzas are some of the finest south of the river...

I DAS'd a blond girl with a Mission Workshop backpack and a purple lock attached to it.
Black bike, fixed, cages & straps. Defo the 'on here' look.
Outside Battersea Park.
I was on my motorbike so I probably sounded like I was shouting abuse.

Guy on a yellow SS Rourke (I think) conversion with derailleur still attached for tension and ridiculous risers.
I am glad you are cycling around the city with a full face helmet on to save your teeth from almost certainly being knocked out, riding around with just a front brake.
What is it with the increasing number of Darwin award contenders riding faux fixies.

Haha I've seen him!
Greetings Cornelius,
You have beaten me to posting here. Yes great moment and lovely to see you...
Yes looking forward to chatting to you at TLC...
I had no insulation in my flat until this year, so when I leave for work each day I always start off nice and warm, so once I am getting going it's arms out etc.
I've only worn gloves five times this winter...
Peace and love,
Tim
