I think Virgin use their own network. We've just ditched them and signed up with Andrews and Arnold. Initial impressions really really good. Options for ADSL, fttc, fttp, depending on where you live. Pricing looked complicated initially, but it's just unfamiliar and is actually straightforward. The service is top notch. I spoke to them before we signed up, and they did not try to sell me anything, but talked through the options, answered questions and left me to decide. I've needed to speak to them once since and they were easy to get through to, and I spoke to someone who knew what they talking about, and despite the issue being a BT issue they came up with a solution and got it sorted for me.
