I am interested, but the line down from the weld-spot at rim height suggests these were made from welded-seam tubing rather than seamless, and the lines of weld further down suggest there's some kind of stress riser or previous event that's triggered repairs...

Will it take a 30mm tyre?

Will it take a 30mm tyre?
I think no, because there won't be enough space on front brake for it, I used it with a 23mm tyre and it was ok.

What's the biggest it will take do you think?

I didn't understand what you mean but to be more clear I attach these three close-up pics, I hope them help..
I've bought it in brand new conditions (never used) but already with this welds on one blade, so I guess it was a second choice.
I think my price is right compared to a brand new one http://www.ebay.it/itm/Passoni-titanium-road-forks-1-gabel-forcella-fork-for-colnago-merlin-masi-klein-/121198040234

I'd say 25mm but not sure about it, being a top-notch road fork (at its time) it has the brake hole lower than normal road forks (I guess they did it with shorter blades to make it more rigid) so it was specifically designed for 23 (or lower) tyres and it needs also a short reach front brake (I put a Campagnolo Record skeleton on it)

I think it may be a teledyne fork. Tho id be more concerned about safety than brand tbh.

PRICE DROP: £50 shipped(still here for a couple of days and then it will go on ebay)
For sale a Passoni titanium 1'' forks, threaded, and really light, just 483 grams on my scale.
I bought it some months ago in these conditions: it had a couple of little weld points on one blade, I've used it for several rides and it's worked perfectly.
I'm not sure 100% it's a Passoni, but on the web I've found a couple of pics of a original passoni fork and mine looks like that, just check them..
