The bottles aren't for drinking, they are a tail fairing for a bike where fairings are against the rules. But that was in a 12h race, so he will have gone through that much fluid one way or another, and the aero gains from keeping it there are more than the losses from the slightly sub-optimal ergonomics.

If I was gonna put myself through the torture of a 12 hr TT I reckon the frequent taunts of passers-by remarking that I look like a total bell end would be a welcome distraction.

NikB won, he didn't get DQ'd and the CTT national Council resolutions on changing Regulation 14 were defeated at the AGM.

I threatened to write a mathematically rigorous Regulation 14 RFC, but at the moment it's all in headspace, and certain elements remain unresolved. It's one of those questions where we all know what a bicycle is when we see one, but defining it in a way which permits what we want to permit but bans what we want to ban without recourse to the kind of idiocy for which we rightly berate the UCI is quite difficult.

I just found a magazine in WH Smith called 'Urban Cyclist'. I only had a quick flick through but it seemed to be an illustrated guide to steaming heaps of Anti.
