We're blates toothless up front... Most of our goals are coming from midfield, innit?

It's chelsea's to lose, they've only got to come to anfield as a tricky game excluding the 2 champions league games

And we will hopefully finish higher than 4th...

Unfortunately this is true. I feel a small piece of me will die when Captain Cunt and thrusy are handed the trophy in May :(

Mike, that whole reverse jinxing is not gonna work. It'll be Man City that are going to win the league.
Chalfie - over the last 10 years on 8 occasions the highest scoring team has won the league. There's also a strong correlation for not conceding goals and winning the league. The only exceptions to the rule were Man Utd and Chelsea when they both scored a ridiculous amount of goals but conceded a few more goals.
I'm sticking to a City as champions followed by Chelsea in 2nd and Liverpool in 3rd and Arsenal 4th.

So attack can overcome defence, so long as the defence is monumentally awful.
If Chelsea had a striker they'd be a sure thing, but chelsea have no strikers. Who wants to play in front of 40,000 supporters? If I was one day to support a team like Chelsea it would be the end.

Are their any articles on defence vs offence for title winners?
The top four are in reverse order for goals scored but Liverpool dont feature in fewest conceded and would be interesting to see this back over the past few years.

and right you were.
Korsakoff's syndrome is taking it's toll.

The next time City play in the league they may be 9 points behind you. Albeit with 3 games in hand. They will not bridge that gap psychologically
Is it time to start dreaming then?

Is your surname Coleman, Mike?

Not sure who he is but just think that playing catch up at this late stage of the season will prove too much

That's what most Liverpool fans do between October and August, no? Next year etc. Credit where credit's due, Liverpool are playing some nice football and are doing quite nicely but with Spurs (to an extent) and Man Utd under-performing they are doing about right. You can't leak goals like you are and honestly think you can win the title. It's all good and well winning 4-3 against Swansea but don't think that if you concede 3 against City or Chelsea that you have a chance taking anything from the game.

Well, it's still possible for us to win the league, but we have to beat all the top teams to do it.
Or we could do badly in those games, and risk being out of the top 4.
It's a very interesting run-in, and I'm just glad to be part of it at this point of the season.

I agree. It is just great to be up there at this end of the season.
Can we win it? Yes of course we can.
Will we win it? No. As pointed out by everyone our defence is just not good enough. 3rd is the most realistic target which would be great -

not yet john
manure may still win the champions leaguePost of the year.

On a positive note, LFC have by far the easiest month coming up compared to their direct competitors. Less matches and inferior opponents. Anything less then 13 points and you might risk losing out on direct qualification for the CL.
The best City and Chelsea can hope for is that Utd are starting to put up a fight.
I'm gonna guess that LFC will be on equal points at the end of next month and you lot are not going to shut up about it until it all ends up in tears in April.

Liverpool - Newcastle last game of the season.
Shola Ameobi hat-trick.
It's written in the stars.
