a fake leader is probably going to be built to a better standard, the quality control on the leader frames is not good atall.
I had a 735 a couple of years ago, it started making a creaking from the seattube, upon further inspection there was a hole in the seattube, not visible from the outside because of the attached aero piece to the back of the seattube.
I wouldn't own another one.
Is that not just a vent hole?

Never take up framebuilding.

Deal. Who would buy frames from people in England anyway? They're so overpriced compared to the ones made in the East by our future masters.

Leader 725 and 735 both have smooth, invisible welds, so you'll be able to identify it as fake or not.

Invisible as in you'd look at them and think it was a was of chewing him and not recognise it as a weld?

I wouldn't own another one.I had this problem with my 735, had one 'fixed' and sent back to me, lasted 2 days and I sent it back with the original creaking problem, then they replaced it with a brand new frame and I had to send that one back as well with the same problem. Did a little research and found old forums with details of the same problem dating back three years to 2009! Gave up on Leader after that and told the shop to keep it.
I'd have more faith in a copycat Leader than an actual Leader. Never again will I purchase anything from them.

I think you'll find that 725s and 735s have terrible messy welds with a smooth putty over the top before painting.
not a leader
