This is part one of a three thread story that will hopefully evolve over the course of the year.
I'm looking at a car that'll get 4-5 friends, 4-5 bikes and camping equipment around week-long tours in the UK and on the continent. The idea being that the vehicle has room for bikes locked in the back during the evening (when camping overnight for example) and on a rack when driving (and the camping kit is in the car).
The car needs to do some serious milage and not be adverse to following the group while on the ride.
I'm thinking something like a Mitsubishi Warrior or a Nissan Navara with a full cab and roofed pickup.
Any other ideas?
