Gas pipe or not, if I go through "trouble" sandblasting and powder coating the frame I want it to look decent. And I have my reasons to use this particular frame.
But thanks everyone for their opinions. I decided to leave those parts on the frame. Will be taking it for powder coating next week. Still have to make final decision on colour though.
P.S. my guess is that nobody would ask such questions about valuable frame anyway.
