Hahahahahahah what in the name of fuck do you qualify as a hobby? Apart from cycling my hobbies include visiting art galleries (broadly free) and reading (inexpensive).

Well I'm probably bias as I come from a motor-racing background!
I have friends who keep horses, some race go-karts, yachting, skiing, kite-surfing and they spend a absolute fortune. To get really high-spec competitive kit cycling is cheap.
I'm classing it as a whole, as in your buy a bike and can just ride it. You don't need any transportation or travel to expensive locations.
Anyway this is just my opinion and I don't want to clog Indra's thread more than I already have.
