Essentially the same circuit, but arrived at the same shape purely serendipitously. That is a brilliant idea to stick it into the handlebar tube.
I was planning on sticking mine inside a short piece of 20mm conduit, the ends plugged with silicon so its water proof and then cable tying that onto my rear rack. I'm going to connect it to the dynamo power using the cable connectors on my rear light.
I might rethink that having seen your link though...
