    I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not trolling.

    Generally it's at least a fiver to enter an audax. To actually be an audax, not an imposter, it should be run under the rules of Audax UK. Some of the money goes to them. I don't know exactly what they do with it but they have overheads such as producing the magazine. They don't make a profit.

    Some goes to the organiser, at least sometimes. If nothing else they will need to buy/print brevet cards, route sheets etc. But some audaxes include a good amount of food for a fiver. Many don't. The quality of food varies too frankly. Nobody personally benefits from running an audax though, it is a lot of work.
