Nice! I though Paul Donohue built all the team Brite frames?
-
• #3
Thanks. Definitely possible, I'm just going with what I was told when I bought it!

The Interweb certainly seems to think that you're right - that Donohue built all the team Brite frames. So we'll go with that will we?

Is the price too high?
-

I have the same frame - It's the nicest road frame I've ever ridden
I got mine much cheaper so I'd say the price is a bit high but you don't see these too often!

Ok then, £300 + post. That's got to be an ok price for an 853 frame, no?

What kind of steerer tube does the fork have?

Nice frame. Good luck selling it.
I'm happy to be be proved wrong but I would have said that Matt Illingworth rode a bigger frame than a 54/55. He's quite a tall guy.

ha! so i've got the wrong frame builder and the wrong rider! oh wells, someone from team brite rode it...

Nice frame - GLWS
For reluctant sale is a project which never really got off the ground.
Reynolds 853 frame and forks. Team Brite were a British cycling team. I am told this was Matt Illingworth's and was built by Bob Jackson. Anyways it's a beauty. Teardrop down tube and aero stays. British BB, braze on for front mech and cable stops on head tube. Seat tube 54cm c-t. Top tube 55cm c-c. The frame has been well used, so the paint ain't perfect by any means. However, it is red, which we all know makes you at least 100% faster
I'm asking £250 posted.
