Today’s journey in was enlivened by a chap wearing Rapha/Sky winter tights, a red winter jersey, Sky/Kask helmet and a fluro HUMP backpack cover.
He was riding a flat bar BMC, with disc brakes- yellow in colour.
I met him having just come over Lambeth bridge, and we roughly kept pace all the way up through town, until (there was a certain inevitability about this) he arrived at H2 shortly after I did.
I know Festus councils that we should say something when we’ve witnessed truly bad cycling (blew every red, dreadful road position, rarely looked when changing lanes/pulling out, almost hit me when I slowed for a signal etc etc), but I find it very hard to do.
Hey ho, maybe he’ll improve on his own.
