If I was buying a learner bike it would be one of those.
It will be light, nippy and with decent tyres you'll be able to think it round corners.
It might even go well too. I thoroughly enjoyed my CBR125, and these Yamahas are way better.
Just don't waste money trying to tune it. Ride it, enjoy it for what it is and if you want to go faster pass your test.
