I'm looking for a new frame to build up. The bike will be my everyday ride, occasional long ride and sometimes track bike - so do it all. Previous bike is a Fuji track that I've ridden since 2009, so something a bit nicer is due.
Ideally after a high quality steel frame, lugged with a front brake drilling on the fork. Paint can be ratty - not after a show bike. Would definitely consider something more modern i.e. TIG welded frame with 1 1/8 head tube.
I'm really trying to avoid going OTP and getting a Brother swift, Soma rush, TF Dart V2 etc. if I can just because I've always hankered after a nice classic frame.
Budget, anywhere from £0 - 300.
