  • Tried alternatives to Nutella? Sometimes you can solve a craving for something by switching to something else which tastes similar (so satisfies the psychological addiction) but is either more filling or less calorie dense. I've been making my own raw almond butter and it tastes very rich but makes me feel very full very quickly, used simply as a spread or dip. I'd have thought it would be acceptable to Nutella addicts. Don't have to make it yourself (although this is not hard) - good varieties to be found in shops.

    Mixed with oil/miso/vinegar/honey, otoh, as a dressing or similar, it becomes evilly easy to drink by the pint.

    I don't even buy the Nutella, I just eat it because it's there. If it wasn't there, no problem. And as for feeling full.. my brain and stomach are not linked.
