That was the beginning of my epic journey to the Excel Centre. "It's only Mile End plus 10 minutes, I might as well cycle" I foolishly thought. Several motorways, giant roundabouts and debris/glass-strewn cycle paths later I bitterly regretted my decision.

Went to Excel once on my bike. Worst bike ride ever.

Saw an utter fixie cretin walking his bike in Knightsbridge, handlebars were cut down to a hands width, brakeless and flat pedals, wearing a green lcef cap. To be honest I was glad they were walking, not riding.

That must have been me! It's a blue Dolan but impressive detail nonetheless. Always have to be assertive heading on to that roundabout to stop cars attempting ridiculous overtakes.

I run up and down that road most evenings as I live not too far from there, usually on the same side of the road as you were on. I'll keep an eye out in future.

I'm sometimes in a super hi-viz 3m reflective gilet which is quite distinctive so that's the easiest way to spot me if you pass any runners around that way. the hat and the beard are a given also obviously.

edit: do you ride past morden tube in the morning as well? I have vague recollections of seeing a blue dolan go past on my way to the station a month or two back.
