For Sale: 14 Bike Co. Complete track bike

I'm selling this on behalf of a friend who isn't on the forum

It's an unbranded 14 bike co. frame built with Columbus SLX tubing, fillet brazed, with a sparkly red finish and chrome forks. 54cm square.

The wheels are Gipiemme hubs on (I think) Rigida rims and Conti Ultra Gatorskin tyres. Rear hub is fixed/free and has a 16T sprocket

Cranks are Miche primato, 46T, saddle is a nice Iscaselle.

Bars and stem are Nitto Technomic and Nitto B123. Not sure about the brake but the lever is a Dirty Harry.

He bought it in 2009 but has kept it immaculate and it hasn't seen the road for a good 2 years The paint is in excellent condition, as is everything else really.

Sugino bottom bracket, dura ace lockring and sprocket, rigida dp18 rims and sapim spokes.

Frame and forks or just frame? Don't think he's interested in splitting that.
Pedals might be available if it's split but you'll have to wait a bit.

Ok so frame and forks provisionally sold to marxist_vulcan so wheels, handlebar and stem, crankset etc are still available. I'll update the list with prices when I speak to my friend.

Ok so here's the price for the remaining items:

Wheelset: £170

Stem and Bars: £70

£170?? They're lovely wheels, but that's a set of £18 rims. Out.

In the breakdown of the build it says the rims were £90

dp18's? rrp is 24.99

Could it be that they were the really sought after vintage ones without breaking surface? You're all making me doubt now, I'll have to double check but it definitely says that on the receipt.

Both rims look like they have wear indicators, which I'm pretty sure Rigidas don't have. It's a conundrum.

Chainset is gone, nitto bars and stem still available.
