Getting a pair of Matching 650/700 FIR rims is always a PITA, waited half a year to find a matching 700c.:) Seconding OK123 on the contact points, black cambium and cotton tape would look great.
Regarding the pedals- I've actually had a pair of those suntour sprints on this frame, liked their design, the price is fair IMO, it is worth mentioning that they`re actually road pedals.
