Just finding a suitable date in November, who is actually going to Barca for Hells Belles? Then it's the Halloween tourney so not that weekend either. Too many tournaments! I'm worried the later it gets, the likelihood of rain increases.

The Sunday is my kids birthday but I've convinced her she wants to visit her nanny in Reading, so very much in.

Guys don't get your hopes up too much, I'm provisionally looking at 8 teams full RR or if it's massively oversubscribed, then 10 or 12 for swiss but we're hopefully at a 25 minute game with 5 minute turn-around scenario. Nothing is set in stone but i'm looking for competitive teams from around the country. The teams will be chosen from sent team bids, behind closed doors! It's a nice ride from London though anyone wants to come and watch.

Roughly i'm hoping to get bids from teams like this:

Bristol
Brighton
Birmingham
Canterbury
Cambridge
Manchester
Rouen / ROTW
North London
South London
East London
West London

(I'm looking for a team btw.)

Also the accommodation is off the hook at £13.90 pppn, I'm negotiating the court cost at the moment but they are more expensive than I anticipated but not prohibitive. There are loads of practice courts around the main court but I wouldn't feel comfortable using them for the tournament.

Will hopefully confirm all this next week. Any issues or concerns, bang them up here.

I'm up for riding to farnborough and getting drunk (maybe helping a bit if needed ;) as it's only about 30 miles from me.

Ok, good news is it's looking like £10 per player for the court hire. Bad news is I have to change the dates so i'm working towards the 10/11th May. If there's anything major that clashes with, let me know, Ta.

Re: teams that might get to play, I have 3 germans who want to come...if they come can we get a spot? need to know sooner than later if poss. So they can sort travel.
