With track dropouts and a mech hanger, this seems to be an old-school time trial frame, which has rather nice wrapover seatstays with painted designs and attractive lugwork.
I bought it off here as a full bike in January but when I stripped it down I found that there was a small hole in the seat tube likely to have been caused by internal rust. I don't think the seller knew about it as it is really only noticeable once you look very closely and have removed the bb.
Anyway, at this stage it does not affect the ride and I don’t know how any deterioration may progress or indeed how long the previous owner was riding it like that with no worsening, but I always get things repaired to prevent a small problem becoming a bigger one and I really don’t have the time to do this right now, so hopefully someone else is interested in doing something with it as it is a nice frame. It may be that a small localised repair would suffice as it is a solid frameset. I found a fair bit of rust when I took the bb out but the inside of the seat tube does feel quite smooth around the hole. Maybe I'm worrying too much, but I'd rather overstate than mislead in the other direction.
While it has lots of paint chips, I have clearcoated the frame so at least rust won’t be affecting the outside of the frame.
Seat tube and top tube are both 54cm ctc. BB is English threaded and it takes a 27.2 seatpost. I’m not sure of the tubing or brand but you can just make out a W logo on the head tube with Burnley underneath. Head tube is 13.8cm.
