I skipped a similar Falcon a couple of years ago that I paid a £5r for about 20 years previously, not in tidy condition like this, but if I'm right, these were low end bikes back in the day, not sure if it would command the same interest/price as an old mongoose/haro/GT etc...

I understand it's not a Raleigh Burner or HARO. But the new gum wall tyres cost me £50 alone. Falcon aren't amazing frames but it's the decal that adds the character. It's pretty sweet to look at. Smooth Rideable condition. You start high right.

Aye, tidy little bike.
Those mushroom grips were the must have accessory in 1989...
Good luck with the sale!

I somewhat agree with Jeez, not the most desirable Falcon model out there even for die-hard collectors that prize goes to the pro-styler.
beside the time of the year isnt good, wait till spring/summer and if someone wants a pub run around this just might be the ticket. -

You should get it on an old school bmx forum,
Raleighburner.com, radbmx, retrobike that sort of thing, you should get around £100 mark.Or split it on eBay, I've sold the same wheels for £50, then but it now on frame £30, bars £15 etc, if brakes are a dia compe set, could be worth quite a bit..
If I wasn't moving house I'd take this off you and split it lol.
Otherwise as said above sell it nearer summer as a festival ride. -

Is it not allowed to be on gumtree as well?
I didn't feel it was necessary to mention that. It's cheaper on here.

Thanks for your help Perdedor I wasn't aware of these sites.
I think I could get a better price in the summer for sure
Not sure if this is the right place to sell this little set of wheels but checking interest....
Frame is a Old School 1980s Falcon Magflyer
I've enjoyed riding and improving this bike over the past 3 years
THE SEAT IS NOT INCLUDED.
Two new Odyssey Tyres (last 4 months) which weren't cheap!
Recent hub Service
Dia Compe Break levers
Skyways Break Pads
New mushroom style Grips
Old School TA, Dice dust caps
Recently bought New Dead Stock fluoro WellGo pedals

Beyond all that it's a pretty good retro ride! Fun bike to have.
Old Vinyl Stickers on the frame.
Bikes in good condition. The frame show's age, little grey.
Handlebars are a little chipped in terms of paintwork.
But it's not that kind of bike to worry about.
Looking for £200
As I said though, this might not be the right crowd.
easy
Carl
