Awesome thanks.
My TT bike is largely as I bought it OTP and I'm giving my TT bike a full overhaul/rebuild in the next couple of months.
I mainly want the Zipp stuff for the adjustability. Although I like my position on the aerobars they are too long and I need to reach forward to change gears. I wouldn't mind just getting the clips and extensions but they won't fit on my current base bars so I figured I'd just get the whole lot.
The Adamo is more for interest than anything else - I'm pretty happy with the stock San Marco job that I've used for the past few years.

Bell Javelin fits nicely to my shoulders. Disc wheel covers to be ordered on payday and then this is done, apart from the more exotic upgrades.

First look I thought you'd bought the wrong size
Having seen that pic, I'm even more convinced you need at least one size smaller.

Pshh, it's comfy. I've moved the extensions back 20mm to replicate the position on the next size down and I prefer this.

its going to look mean with the wheel covers on the back. what length stem have you got on there? could maybe go shorter.

Look what happens to stack and reach when you change from your current 120° elbow angle to a more reasonable 105°. I think the latter is likely to be more comfortable on the road, as opposed to in the bedroom. #internetbikefit

90, so can't really go shorter without making it twitchy. My knees come very close to my elbows if I have the pads much closer to the HT, and that's with the saddle almost fully back on the seatpost.

Mmm, perhaps. I'll see how it feels on the road once racing starts.

At least if you think your bike is the right size, you won't try to steal my 51cm T3 :-)

Love these things! Gonna look amazing!

Think you need to bring you arms in, just bring back the extensions and pads if you can. Looks quite aggressive to me, I think the worst thing in a TT is bad back pain. If it's comfy, it's comfy and it's your bike. Great build and will be killer with disc.

I'll pick up some of the 10mm risers blocks and try it with extensions brought in a bit.

I have the same problem with knees. sometimes knee my elbow pads when climbing!

Push the javelin back so it's touching your back. Tighten up the back ratchet at it'll stay in place.
Arms look fine. If it's comfy and your not struggling to breathe keep.
How narrow are the arms? Front pic?
-
• #193
There's about a 5mm gap between the pads, arms are very close together. I'll get the gf to take a picture tomorrow.

you are also sitting pretty far back on the saddle in the pic. when you're on the rivet you shoulder angle will probably be a fair bit better.

Rubber sorted, raltecs ordered and first open entered.

I might upgrade to Raltecs, did you order over the internet?
-
• #197
Exchanged a few emails with them before ordering to confirm measurements then ordered through their website. They're difficult to get the attention of but once you're in contact with them they tend to be pretty good at responding.

Dinky little Lezyne Femto for the front (blue was cheapest, not intentionally matchy)
I've never been happy with the mounting system for the Femto spoiling the clean lines of my handlebars, so I've modified it into a bar end mount. Still needs a bit of trimming and filing, but i'm pretty happy with how it looks.

What's the brake cable? Clean.
Yeah I had similar problems tracking it all down. I've got all my Zipp stuff from Total Cycling, who have been very good. Pretty much the only place I've found that sells most of the Vuka Alumina stuff, all competitvely priced. Clips with carbon extentions are the same price as the aluminium ones, so you might as well get them.
I'll probably upgrade to a nicer base bar next year, the Alumina one is a little chunky and I'd like a longer reach.
Worth putting a wanted ad up on the TT forum for an Adamo, I only paid £70 for that TT one, they go for nearer £100 on ebay.
