For the 1st time ever (hopefully this is the beginning rather than a one off) Patch spent the night sleeping on my bed next rather than trying to bite my feet off and result in me kicking her out. Yes she spent a solid 4 hours and a bit sleeping next to me and I was allowed to move and breath as normal without having a cat jumping on me and grabing my bum, bitting my feet or whatever. Yay!!

Imagine having this cat jumping on your chest in the morning demanding breakfast... ouch! That really hurts... :-P

Hi all, need some advice! have a two year old very much outdoor cat and I am moving from a house with garden to a first floor flat (its quite spacious). Although there is the possibility of letting her out eventually this would involve only street access (dead end though so no traffic) through two front doors and a set of stairs plus loads of big burly city cats outside. I wonder if anyone has any experience moving a cat from outdoor to indoor and can give any much needed advice? Its for a year until I move into a house with a garden once more.
She's called Boo.

I'm in a very similar situation and have been wondering about asking here for advice for a while.
We live in a first floor flat with Bella, who's 5 and has previously been a very outdoors cat. We'd like to let her out, also through two front doors: when we moved a couple of months ago we kept her in for a few weeks until she chilled out, then she started appearing really keen to explore beyond the front door. We let her out one the morning hoping she'd be around when we got back: no sign, cue panic. She was mewling pathetically in our neighbour's back garden (she'd got round to the back of the terrace and apparently forgotten how to get back round the front). We had to go and ask our neighbour if we could retrieve her: she stank like a fox and we basically had a big fight with her in his garden then his living room/ kitchen/ bathroom (she hates being picked up). She recovered from the ordeal (as did we, eventually) and is now quite miserable again, clearly wants to go outside. But what if she can't find her way back again, again? And she has to be here when we get in as we can't leave the door/ window open. -

Hi guys, me and my girlfriend are looking for kittens. Hopefully we find something soon.
I am going to order products such as beds, toys etc... what do you recommend based on your experiences? I am on Amazon looking at reviews on certain things myself.

Bed? they're cat, you don't need anything like that.
Don't bother with toys, a piece of string will keep them entertained.
The only thing you need to concern yourself with is litterbox and food.

^ this. I've spent loads at the vet's on what I thought would be excellent toys. Doesn't give a shit. Apart from catnip, he likes that.
