Slight headache....
The point at which chainring meets crank spider is a bit smaller on the Gebhardt by comparison with mistral (fig.1)...
The edge of the spider measures 20.3mm, the edge of the original mistral measure 19.9mm and the available meat on the Gebhardt is 18.3.
If we cut away the Gebhardt to match the Mistral shape (fig. 2) there'll be a 1mm gap between the spider and chainring.
There may be a compromise e.g. a transition region (fig.3 ) but this may end up messy.
I think the next step is to check what fig. 2 looks like by making a cardboard cutout...
