Quick review;

Rapha Rain Jacket - I got the purple Paul Smith version off ebay a couple of years ago, it's a lovely winter jacket, light and warm, yesterday was the first day I'd actually used it in a really heavy downpour. Rode for about an hour in torrential rain, didn't get cold in the slightest and was bone dry underneath when I took it off. I hung it up and it was dried out within about 15 mins.

Such a good jacket, just be careful with the zips, mine is now pretty close to death as the main zip has started coming away from the seam.

What have you been doing with it?
That said I find mine is so hot that I can't ride in it, so maybe I've been more gentle with mine. Great jacket for general wear though, and I've used it for skiing too!

Washed mine loads. Was just as waterproof after as it was before.

Is it the 'size up' situation with these? I had a classic softshell in large which was a perfect fit, so possibly XL for me too?

Hmmm not so sure about the size up with the pro team gear...

Did that with the jersey and definitely should have stuck to my size. They are meant to be a second skin and the jackets too are not meant to be flappy. Obviously depends on body type.

Thanks goonz, I'm down in London next week so I might try to get to the store if it's back open.

I'll just add that the merino beanie is just a brilliant bit of gear. I've used it for running, cycling and dicking about in and it keeps me warm even though it's very thin and light.

Really gutted its out of stock atm.

I have a long torso - it's okay with jerseys but with the jacket it means I need to size up.

I have enough on me to fill it up as well.

Speaking of jackets. I got a great deal on a hardshell I needed for regular commuting which arrived today..........and doesn't fit, like I said my old softshell felt bespoke tailored wish I'd never sold it, bah!
Have I put that much weight on since Christmas? bloody hell! So if anyone here wants one black,large. I'll put a seperate add on in the For Sale section.

It doesn’t have rapha embroided on the chest but has it embroided into the white armband

Is it fleece lined at all? With wind proof panels in the inside front area?
