The wall thickness is irrelevant as you only need to drill as deep as the screw you are using?
-

The walls are really dense, solid concrete. The drill I have (which, to be fair is pretty shite) wasn't making much of an impact

Put the screws through the holes in the rack. Then hold it in position just off the wall whilst a plasterer plasters the wall. Hold it there until the plaster sets. Voila.

That's the kind of pragmatic thinking I've always lacked :-)

Do you know the manufacturer of your hang-it-all?

If it falls through, I would like to have it.
Moved into a new place with no hanging facilities.

An SDS+ drill will go through concrete. I have one, as do some other people on here I'm sure. Borrow one.
I have one of these, love it.
Hi all,
Have an Eames reproduction 'Hang-It-All' clothes/storage hanger for sale. Bought around 12 months ago but never used as I subsequently discovered that my walls are about 12 inches thick and I'd need a pneumatic drill to put it up! So it's in as-new condition. Looks like the one pictured below.
SOLD. Thanks
