  • Are you interested only in frames? Or complet bikes?

  • I have got a Dream HP b-stay. I'd give you for 1200euros. It is expensive... But, not a normal dream hp. It is with great accessories, and it is one of the last produced frames of hp.

  • Are you sure at your height that you want a 55 or 56 frame. For info I'm around 1/2" taller with the same inside leg and I ride a 54 sloping extremely power which is equivalent to 58 in colnago sizing.

  • Hi flintlock I'm not certain any advise would be welcome to be honest. Yes 54/55 would be good. Also ideas info on how they ride. I have a colnago ace running a mix of 105, ultegra and dura 7950. Dtswiss rr rims on hope hubs Its nice but feels if something isn't quite right. Out the saddle its great but sometimes feels lacking. I've also literally yesterday finished putting together a Pinarello Paris movistar. With dura 9000 not ridden it yet. Was looking at replacing the ace which is stunning and mint. Everyone keeps saying a C40 bstay HP or C50 bstay HP will tick the box s comfort with performance. I just wouldn't do american or anything else I've an affinity to Italian icons. Lol got a shed full of lambrettas and vespas. An no I ain't a mod. Thanks so far.

    Thanks mark

  • Hi

All of the models your looking at will ride nicer than the ace and are classic to end colnagos so I'm sure you won't be disappointed. What size is the pinarello? My 54 sloping has a 565mm. The sizes you are looking at would probably ok but you will have a large drop down to the bars. What's your saddle height from centre of bb to top of saddle.

  • Mapei. That is all.

  • My seat height is 765mm, the Pinarello cross bar is 54.5 the ace 54 dead. The Pinarello is a longer reach by 30mm. I use a 90 stem on the colnago. 110mm on the Pinarello. My in depth bike fit reckons a 120 to 130mm but was finding I was getting numb hands.
I'm into comfort not torturing myself however I tend to push every ride. Perhaps I should slow. My goal is to be doing reg centuries by spring. With a bike that not only goes but feels like It goes with comfort. My Pinarello F4.13 that i crashed in december an trashed the frame went well but beat u up a bit. The ace is comfortable but mushy if that makes sense. I'm in my more mature years (47) but push it
