Looks like a rear to me - short mounting bolt, and closed end of the cartridge holders would be pointing backwards if you mounted it on the front of the fork.

Measure the bolt.

Would probably fit on the front if used with a recessed nut.

It is to be used with a recessed nut: on the rear.
Even if you used an extra long nut (such as supplied for carbon forks) there would be so little engagement with the bolt, that it wouldn't be long before the bolt snapped the nut in a sudden and catastrophic manner.

^^^ those 2 in the pic are both rear brakes too

Even if it was to be for use on front with a recessed bolt, the threads normally stop just short of the inside of the rear hole. Rear brake, for sure.

The seller is saying he hasn't made a mistake ie its a front !
Tell him he's a dickbag , that is certainly a rear without doubt

Rear without a shadow of a shadow of a doubt.
Hi All,
Please excuse my lack of knowledge. Have only owned disc brakes in the past.
Purchased a miche brake for my fixed build. Seller advertised and described as a front. Having received it in my opinion its a rear.
My photo:
The seller is saying he hasn't made a mistake ie its a front, I disagree. Please could you confirm Im not barking up the wrong tree!
