D'oh. Should have paid more attention. Definitely custom milled as the broken line repeats itself round the post. Think it's a 1044 now. Doesn't have the bevel that the later Nuovo has. Only weighs 275g though. Milling almost 50g off it is an achievement.
Oh well, straight back in the parts bin...
