    I've never had no advisories. Next year though, here's hoping.

    Does that mean it's running an HIF44E with the Analogue ECU controlling a stepper motor? Or has it got a regular choke cable?

    My Rover had HIF44E carbs and there was a lot to go wrong. Most of it did, leaving it thinking it was running a cold engine all the time, and chucking a lot of fuel into the engine.

    SU don't have a choke (air restriction) as such, its just acts on the accelerator. So is just giving it more fuel and air.
