Precision is important to see whether any changes have been beneficial, accuracy is only important if you're in a pissing contest with people on ttforum bragging about how low their CdA is.
This is what I thought. (a) Since I don't care about the pissing contest I think stages will hopefully be sufficient and (b) I imagine my aero testing will be more about the "low hanging fruit" than the "marginal gains" and hopefully stages will be able to cover that too.
