Not too bad. Newt was a bit overwhelmed by it so did a bit of mooching about and then ran back inside. Ripley freaked out a bit the first time and was looking very twitchy so we had a bit of an operation around the neighbours gardens to herd her back in. Second time she wandered off calmly and came back a while later for food.
Tonight we're going to spend some time posting Ripley through the cat flap so she gets the idea and then leave her to her own devices. Newt will probably require some more supervision as we've realised it would be easy for her to get into a place she can't get back from.
