I really like those Mercier's as budget track frames, they do them in good sizes too.

Thats a good KHS.
Also wishbones are awesome!

same here..YSB has one in Vegas iirc.
drilled, bottle cage mounts and mudguard mounts too (unlike steamroller)

Yeah I remember him saying, I'd much rather have one of those than a pre cursa. I wonder if anyone in the uk sells them. If I had one I'd just set it up with mudguards, a brake and bottle cages permenantly.

^ I remember trying to get one a couple of years ago and couldn't find anyone in the UK or Ireland selling one.

• #36634
Mercier's OK, but I think I'd be more inclined to go bareknuckle
Similar style of bike, similar price tag, way more rad -

These are £600 in the UK though.
The KHS you can buy for $200 from bike island. You do need to be in 'merca though. Cycle Surgery brought the complete bikes over for a bit.

?
It has horizontal dropouts.

• #36643
Not 120 spacing, and uglier than track ends
-
• #36644
Mash is nice but pricey, I'd prefer steel anyway
-
• #36645
disc with 120 rear?
-
• #36646
There is a lot better quality and quantity of single speed specific hubs available for disc brakes at 135mm

What do you guys think of the Colossi Mondial Track? I really like the Columbus Zona tubes. Is there any frames similar to that shape and style I should look at too?
-
• #36648
It's really shit
-
• #36649
Really? Hmm maybe I'll go for the Al Colossione then
Kinda tempted on a njs export frame but not sure how the quality is other than them mentioning chipped paint ect, if a part where there's threads is messed up or something -
• #36650
Threads are not usually messed up, mentioned dent aside I found mine to be in generally decent condition with clean and perfect threads
Fair comment TM
Anodizing to try and match decals/plastics never works*, when will people learn
*I have never seen it work
